Pricing & Payment

Adults (13+) are $60 per person and children (12 & under) are $30 per person. There is a $500 minimum for all bookings. Prices do not include sales tax, gratuity, or travel fees. Premium upgrades like Filet Mignon (+$10/person) and Lobster Tail (+$15/person) are available. Use our Price Estimator for an instant quote.
We accept Cash, Venmo, and PayPal. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and time. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event. See our Payment page for details.
Travel fees may apply depending on your location. Please call or text your booking agent for details. Gratuity and travel fees go directly to the chef. For locations within our core service area (Panama City Beach, Destin, 30A), fees are typically minimal or waived.
No, gratuity is not included in the quoted price and goes directly to the chef. The standard tipping amount for hibachi chefs is 18–20% of the total food bill. Our chefs work hard to put on an amazing show, and gratuity is always appreciated!

Booking & Reservations

We recommend booking at least 48–72 hours in advance. For weekend dates and holidays during peak season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), we strongly recommend booking 1–2 weeks ahead to ensure your preferred date and time slot is available.
Please submit all menu selections (protein choices, add-ons, dietary needs) 5–7 days before your event. You can submit these directly to your booking agent. Don't forget to include your event address with zip code so we can confirm availability.
Please provide at least 72 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. The $100 booking deposit is non-refundable. Clients are responsible for cancellations due to inclement weather. If you need to reschedule, we'll do our best to find an alternative date.
There is no minimum guest count, but there is a $500 minimum booking total. That works out to roughly 8–9 adults at $60 each. For smaller parties, we can discuss options β€” please call or text us at (850) 961-6666.

What to Expect

Every meal includes hibachi vegetables, fried rice, garden salad with ginger dressing, and 1 protein of your choice (chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon, scallops, or tofu). Yum yum sauce, ginger sauce, and soy sauce are included. The experience also includes a 60–90 minute live chef performance with fire tricks, the onion volcano, flying shrimp, and more.
We bring the hibachi grill, all cooking equipment, and all food ingredients. You need to provide:

β€’ Outdoor space for the grill (patio, backyard, covered area)
β€’ Beverages for your guests
β€’ Plates and utensils (or rent them from us for $15/person)

If you don't have tables and chairs, our optional rental package covers everything at $15/person.
The chef's performance and meal preparation lasts approximately 60–90 minutes. This includes all the entertainment (fire tricks, flying shrimp, onion volcano, etc.) plus cooking and serving all guests. For larger groups, it may run closer to 90 minutes.
Yes! Our chefs clean up their cooking area and grill before leaving. We take away all of our equipment and leave your space clean. If you've rented tables and chairs from us, we handle setup and teardown of those as well.
Yes, we work with most dietary needs. Please inform us of any allergies or restrictions when submitting your menu order (5–7 days before the event). We offer vegetarian options (tofu as protein) and can adapt our preparation to accommodate common allergies. Please note that our grill may have cross-contact with common allergens.

Weather & Logistics

Our chefs are ready to cook rain or shine, but you must provide covered cooking space (a tent, covered patio, garage with open side, or similar shelter). Clients are responsible for cancellations due to inclement weather. Please provide 72 hours' notice to reschedule if needed.
We serve all of Northwest Florida including Panama City Beach, Destin, 30A (Rosemary Beach, Seaside, WaterColor, Alys Beach), Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Fort Walton Beach, Okaloosa Island, Niceville, and Pensacola Beach. Beach cooking is possible in some situations but depends on local regulations, wind conditions, and access. Most of our beach events take place at beachfront properties or covered beach areas rather than directly on the sand. Please contact us to discuss your specific beach event.
Yes! Our chefs are trained professionals who cook outdoors safely every day. We use commercial-grade hibachi grills designed for outdoor cooking. We maintain at least 3–4 feet of clearance from any structures, and our chefs follow strict food safety protocols. Pirate Hibachi is a fully licensed catering operation.
